What will you do as CTO?
As Klingit's CTO, you won't just be a part of this journey - you'll be one of the navigators. You'll have a real opportunity to make a lasting impact and help build something groundbreaking in the agency world. But you won't be doing it alone; you'll join a fun, supportive, kind and tight-knit team with colleagues scattered across the globe. We're not just about work; we're about community.
Your key responsibilities include crafting the company's technical vision, hands on development of our product/DesignOps platform and coaching a high-performing tech team. You will provide leadership to the tech team with its four members, overseeing the collaborative creation and execution of the quarterly tech roadmap and sprints. This includes ensuring a seamless platform and the integration of innovative solutions to meet our clients' evolving needs. You will also establish efficient workflows, implement automated testing processes, and manage releases, supporting Klingit's growth and innovation initiatives.
Proficiency in backend coding, technical architecture, and familiarity with AI integration are essential to succeed in this role. Additionally, you will take charge of ensuring the reliability, scalability, and robust data security of our platform. You'll also have a keen interest in emerging technologies for service enhancement and the oversight of product development. Therefore, to excel in this position, you should have an entrepreneurial mindset, visionary thinking, and strong planning skills and a doer who gets things done, but also have a humble, kind, and curious attitude that aligns with our core values. An interest in graphic design and branding is always appreciated!
Who are you?
Manager: Previous experience in team management roles, for example, Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Team Lead, or CTO.
Tech: Experience in writing backend applications for the web in any object-oriented language and previous hands-on experience with cloud solutions.
Security: Solid competence and experience in establishing and maintaining high levels of data security and related processes.
Agile: Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and coaching teams using agile methodologies.
Strategic: Strong strategic thinking skills and a structured mindset, capable of translating business objectives into actionable tech strategies.
