Java Software Engineer (Development)
Summary
As Java Developer, you will work in a flexible team where you will be involved in all aspects of the development process ? from analysis and design to implementation and test. The products that Seamless delivers require continuous development and the job is performed in an agile environment, in collaboration with product owners, testers and architects.
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MSc. in Computer Science or MCA or equivalent
Experience/ Skills
Essential:
• Minimum 5 years of development experience preferably in Java/J2EE in Linux environment (or any other flavors of Unix)
• Practical experience in working with databases, preferably MySQL, with strong competency in SQL
• Strong in problem solving, design and coding
• Comfortable is using some SCM tools for source control, bug tracking, build automation etc.
• Clear understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
Good to have:
• Exposure to scripting (Perl/Python/Shell)
• Experience in web technologies preferably Ajax
• Experience in working with distributed teams
• Agile development experience preferably Scrum
Personal Attributes
Essential:
• Good communication skills in English
• Self driven and ability to make progress with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
