The Opportunity
We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer for our Security team. In this position, you will be an active member of a highly-skilled agile team, responsible for building, running, and maintaining security services across multiple software platforms within Worldline, serving internal users, partners, and our valued customers. We are in a DevOps transformation process to adopt broader responsibilities in what we build.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Our autonomous agile teams are adopting the DevOps culture. This means that you are responsible for:
Delivering objectives including what is needed to reach the goal you and the team are committed to reaching.
Securing an outstanding qualitative service availability 24/7/365 where 3rd line on-call duty is expected based on a schedule.
Participate in your team's day-to-day activities including software development, operations, maintenance, and support.
Being active in our agile events like daily standups, planning, retros, demos, etc.
Facilitating across teams and helping foster collaboration and open communication.

Skills we can't do without
As our new Software Engineer in the Security team you have:
Proven experience in software development with Java.
Proven experience of writing robust, maintainable code and an understanding of how to test, architect and work with distributed, high frequency services.
The knowledge of application and network security, Identity and Access Management.
Experience in both on-premise and Cloud Infrastructure platforms.
Experience working in Jenkins Pipelines, GIT, and CI/CD.
Have experience of micro services, build and test automation, virtualization and agile testing methods.
Strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant field.
Full working proficiency in English.


Skills we'd like
To fully enjoy our autonomous and agile ways it would be great if you also have:
Knowledge of DevOps ways of working including fostering the DevOps culture, automation, lean flow, measurement, and recovery.
Knowledge in front-end development and UX/UI.
Experience in Cassandra and/or DB2 and general usage.
Experience in developing secure and/or PCI-DSS certified solutions is considered an advantage.
