They are providing IP cores and supporting development tools for embedded processors based on the SPARC architecture. The company has customers around the globe, mainly within aerospace and defense, but also on the commercial side.
ABOUT THE JOB
In this role you will participate in, or be responsible for, the development of thevisualisation software, from specification to implementation, documentation and testing on hardware models. You will personally be able to influence the user experience and user interface design considering the information to visualize in different situations. The development is mainly performed using Java programming, but can also be adapted to match your profile to include C-programming and scripting languages. As part of the software team you will in close cooperation with the core tool designers be leading the GUI development for the next generation hardware debugger and simulator software tools and IDE plug-ins. The user interface is based on the widely used open-source Eclipse software environment. Most of the software projects are commercial where you will provide customers with technical support. Occasionally you will take an active role in trouble shooting the solutions integrated into the customer's products, which can be challenging but at the same time very rewarding. The companyis a customer-oriented company that quickly respond to market demands.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for candidates with eithera Bachelor's or Master's degree or with a similar educuation, for example YH. In order to fit in this role, we believe that you have a a strong general interest in new technologies and an an analytical mindset. Further more you like to takeresposibility and you find yourself as a well structured person. It's meritoriousif you have working experience in a similar role, but it is not necessary.If you are a recent graduatewith practical skills from your own home projects, that is fine as well. Still werequire expertise within Java-programming, and a good written and verbal communication skillin English. Key technology include:
* Java SE 8+
* Eclipse, Eclipse TCF, SWT
* Jenkins, Git, Docker, Maven
* Network socket programming, unit-testing
* Cross-platform Linux/Windows application developmen
