Are you a skilled Java Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team within Corporate banking? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Java Developer. As a Java Developer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality solutions for our corporate customers.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and software components.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.

• Work closely with Product Owners and Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of software features.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within the SAFe framework.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Java development and SAFe practices.

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong experience in Java development, including proficiency with Java frameworks and libraries.

• Understanding of microservice architecture, experience in API development and building microservices using Java Spring Boot.

• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools preferably OpenShift.

• Experience integrating APIs and microservices with external systems and services.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

• Experience working in collaborative development environments, following best practices such as version control, code reviews, and continuous integration.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile methodologies.
