The job
Tech Lead / Senior Developer plays an essential role within our Professional Services department. You will be responsible for the project at a technical level and managing projects through all phases, also internally. You will guide application engineers on project objectives, making estimation of the technical aspects and transform customer requirements into technical solutions, why communication skills are important.
Tacton mainly works with a web application written in java and jquery, but also solutions developed in .NET occurs. You will work with customer-specific sales configuration solutions, i.e. solutions that make it easy to sell complex products in a quick and efficient manner. Being part of our team you will work with a cutting-edge product; the research behind Tacton Configurator started in 1987 at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS).

We are a Swedish software company with international customers. Tacton?s typical clients are large international industrial companies such as Scania, GE, Siemens, ABB, Alfa Laval, Toshiba and others.

Are you the one...
You have a relevant university degree or higher and five years work experience in java and .NET, preferably in web. You have also worked with test-driven development, as this is something Tacton wants to continue to develop.
To become a successful Tech Lead you feel high identification with the project and are also self-driven and goal-oriented. You enjoy working in an intercultural team environment. You have experience of customer contact and as a person you are communicative and have leadership skills. You see yourself as analytical and logical. You are fluent in Japanese and English both verbal and writing.
