hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos The Chimney Pot Sverige AB i Stockholm The Chimney Pot is currently searching for IT Support Technicians to give the internal IT team the boost it needs to meet the challenges of the company's growth. It will be a part time job based on hourly wages. We are looking for someone with a broad range of IT experience and good interpersonal skills.
The Chimneys desktop environment is primarily Mac OS X based but we are also using Windows and Linux. Our infrastructure is quite unique and extensive; you will have the opportunity to work with latest technology in a media intensive environment.
Areas of responsibility:
• Act as a first line support personnel for users and systems in a media intensive environment.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer hardware/software, applications, networks, printers and other systems/devices.
• Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
• Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
• Take proactive steps to minimize the need for users to contact technical support.
• Responsible for backup and archive systems.
• Be prepared to deal with everything from basic level tasks (System's installation, cabling) to critical core systems maintenance.
• Working extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable.
Skillset:
Bachelor in IT relevant program.
• A high level of experience with Mac OS X and Windows.
• Good knowledge of Mac and Windows native applications.
• Pedagogical; the ability to support and interact with users in a good way.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux is a plus.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet based networks (LAN, WAN).
• Swedish is not a demand, english works just fine

Working hours:
• This is an hourly paid employment
• On average we expect 10 hours per week but some projects demand more during periods.
