hela Sverige Due to upcoming paternity leave, Fyrklövern has a time limited (7-8 months) support position opening in its IT Services team in Malmö, starting mid-end November. The contract would start with a short training period where the candidate will be introduced to the tasks and environment gradually taking on responsibilities, followed with a roughly 6-7 months period when the technician would be part of a small, internal IT team, responsible for day to day IT support.
About the position
As the IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for both local and remote users across the entire company. You will support the organization's desktops/servers (both Windows and MacOS), network, printers and software applications and must be service focused, self-motivated and able to work within an established frame work.
You will be based in our Malmö office on full time basis.
Responsibilities
First Line support for users either locally or remotely (approx. 200 users in total)
Respond to and resolve trouble tickets, telephone calls, email and personal requests for technical support
Perform hardware and software installations, moves, additions and changes for new hires and current user base
Maintain updated site and systems documentation
Daily hardware and software maintenance of desktop PCs, laptops, printers and servers including patches and updates
Escalate problems/issues through IT management and suppliers
Manage the supply and usage of all consumables and spare parts for Desktops and printers
Carry out network troubleshooting as requested
Provide training or guidance in the use of technology
Assist with all aspects of daily IT operations
Assist with other duties as needed
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
Windows and macOS operating systems and applications
Experience of supporting users remotely and locally
Working experience of Active Directory
IT Infrastructure technical knowledge
Service focused
Good communicator in Swedish and English
