SUMMARY
• Provide IT support to Swedish staff (~100) on all company supported applications and equipment.
• Troubleshoot computer problems and determine the source, and advise on appropriate action.
• Some project work may be required on an ad-hoc basis.

As an Internal IT Support Assistant you will be responsible for being the first / second point of contact for staff with any IT related issues as well as other support and maintenance functions in a mainly Microsoft and Cisco environment.

The job will be based at the company's Stockholm (Sweden) Office and will involve supporting the individual swedish users and supporting and developing the company?s server and infrastructure systems. Some travel to other sites and locations may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Answer staff questions in person, via phone or email
• Work with the helpdesk team in resolving issues via Remedy force ServiceDesk.
• Help troubleshoot computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and advise staff on appropriate action.
• Serve as liaison between staff and the IT department to resolve issues.
• Document resolutions for future reference.
• Install hardware and software as required.
• Imaging of desktops and laptops.
• Maintain Applications such as AV and Encryption.
• Support mobile devices, phones and hardware.
• Some Project related work may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• A Computer related qualification or related experience.
• Ability to learn and support new applications.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.
• Some previous IT support and technical experience in a similar environment (1st / 2nd Level Support for ~100 Users in multiple locations including remote support).
• Working knowledge of service level agreements and ITIL principles.
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Required skills:
• Swedish and English speaking
• Windows XP Professional, 7 and 8.
• Microsoft Office Support including Outlook.
• Desktop support including Printer installations, etc.
• Logging calls via the Helpdesk system

And at least some of the following skills:
• Active Directory Administration.
• Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, WINS.
• Knowledge of Virtual Environments.
• Imaging using MDT,
• Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, SCCM/McAfee anti-virus.
• Knowledge of Server technologies.
• Exchange 2007 / 2010.
• TCP/IP Networking Principals.
• Remote Access, LAN & WAN troubleshooting.
