IT Solution Leader - Soft offer management/Quotation Service
Solution Center VCE/Penta/Bus Aftermarket Offer & Sales is now looking for one additional Solution Leader/Business Analyst.
In this role you will be working in global projects and in maintenance, reporting to the Delivery Manager for Solution Center VCE/Penta/Buses Aftermarket Offer & Sales. On a daily basis you will have close dialogue with Volvo CE business stakeholders as well as third party vendors.
Role mission & context
Volvo CE is currently running a project to create a Soft Offer Management solution, where Customers can place orders and manage services. The solution will manage configuration, ordering, pricing, delivery control, invoicing and payments. Volvo CE is also running a project, QSS (Quotation Service Scheduling), in the Repair and maintenance area. To cover these two areas, we now need to strengthen our team with one IT Solution Leader.
IT Solution Leaders ensures consistent and efficient usage of the systems and you will be part of a team of Architects, Solution Experts and Solution leaders. On behalf of the manager you are responsible for the delivery, the IT Solution Leader takes the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for the solutions and supports the full utilization of solutions.
The job combines knowledge of the business usage and processes with knowledge of the solutions. The IT Solution Leader is responsible to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
• Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Secure continuity management for the solution
• Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
• Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test and secure that user acceptance test will be performed
• Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material
• Communicate enhancement estimates to the manager of the business solution portfolio, Process Manager or equivalent
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Set the requirements and approve hand over from project to maintenance
• Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines
• Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, business processes and implement recommended tools and methods
• Work proactively with continuous improvements

Qualifications & skills
• Knowledge about the processes and functions in the Automotive Industry
• Strong business understanding or proven ability to learn fast
• Proven leadership skills with considerable social competence

• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
• Relevant university degree
