The Nordic Sales and Marketing Organization is headquartered in Stockholm, with local sales offices in Copenhagen, Helsinki and Trondheim.

The IT Support Analyst provides 2nd Level support for incidents using BD standard processes. This means providing effective solutions within agreed service levels in order to ensure operation and compliance of the company?s on-site infrastructure and desktop computing environment as well as mobile solutions in our sales organization.

Main duties:

To provide 2nd Level support to Nordic and other assigned countries. Resolving all incidents and problems reported via the global 1st line service desk and manage them to closure within agreed service levels in order to ensure minimal impact to BD employees.

You must be process driven and have the ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively in order meet the operational objectives.

You are responsible for maintaining inventory of all infrastructure hardware in the specified sites in accordance with policies.

Monitors and maintains workstations in order to ensure IT Security compliance.

Provides IT induction training to end-users to ensure an efficient and effective use of provided hardware and software.

Act as a backup for others in the Support Analyst team in the region where required

Responsible for procuring hardware and software as required.

Be able to travel throughout Europe as and when required.

Must be highly motivated, have attention to detail with a desire to succeed

Skills & experience required:

Experience of working in a 1st line support role (2nd level desired), dealing directly with the business and user base
Experience of delivering support to remote users over the phone in English
Customer service attitude
Experience in using Service Desk administration tools (BMC ITSM, HP ServiceCenter, etc.)

Excellent knowledge of packaged applications such as MS Office including MS Outlook.
Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Excellent knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals.
Fluent Swedish Language skills
Fluent English Language skills
Basic knowledge of server backups/restores/shares.
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN environment

Skills & experience desired:
Experience of working in 2nd line support
Microsoft Certifications
Blackberry enterprise experience.

Educational experience:
University degree

This position is located in Stockholm at our office in Liljeholmen. You will spend most of your time at the Stockholm office, but you will also be asked to travel to other BD offices in the EMEA region.
