We are currently looking for an IT Security Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that is overall responsible for IT security and being responsible to assure the IT security in the journey of manufacturing digitalization and IoT in a large global company. You will work closely with the business to ensure that IT security and compliance adherence in the manufacturing environment, solutions and network. You will be working in the IT Compliance and Security team and also work closely the network architecture team. You will be responsible to drive the implementation and improvements for network- and endpoint security for IoT and digitalization projects in and around manufacturing.

Job responsibilities:
• Responsible to find sustainable IT security solutions for IoT, manufacturing cloud and mobility IT based on business needs including risk level and compliance perspective
• Contribute to the overall IT security strategy for cloud and mobility security within IoT and manufacturing
• Member of IT Security Architecture team
• In-depth support projects as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for IoT and IT Manufacturing to projects and functions providing guidance guidance in digitalization, IoT and cloud security for manufacturing to business leaders
• Drive continuous improvements to IT Security within IoT and manufacturing
• Serve as part of the Incident Response Team on Major IT Security Incidents
• Ensure solutions for secure digital transactions, content and data
• Lead implementation and ongoing compliance of key digital IoT security controls
• Coordinate evaluation and mitigation of Digital IoT third party risks with business leaders
• Document and enforce digitalization, IoT, cloud and mobility security policies and procedures for manufacturing (based on business and user requirements)

Job Requirements :

• Preferred engineering degree or BA/BS Degree
• 5+ years of working experience in IoT, Information Security, IT Security, SCADA, ICS or manufacturing IT experience
• 5 years in previous experience within information security
• Industry 4.0 experience with managed/outsourced/cloud security and infrastructure services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Personal requirements:

• Ability to work self-managed with high level of drive and commitment, with skills to deliver action, progress and change
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and others levels within the organization
• Structured and systematic
• Able to work in an environment characterized by short decision paths together with a team of IT specialists with different areas of expertise
• Hold a genuine interest in the understanding of threat actor behavior and changing IT security risks
• The ability to solve complex problems taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and take prudent, calculated risks when warranted
• Possess a high level of technical/functional expertise and knowledge of network and industrial controls
• Experience with managed/outsourced/cloud security and infrastructure services
• Interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences

Preferred requirements:

• CISSP / CISM (or other industry recognized security certification)
• Experience in regulated environments
• ITIL certification
• Knowledge & experience being part of a security operations team in a global, complex environment
• Experience with cloud applications and associated security risks
• Industry - Aerospace and Defense or manufacturing industry experience

Additional information:

The position holder will be based at SKF in Gothenburg or Schweinfurt.

You will be reporting to the Manager of IT Security and Compliance.

The work may include infrequent travel.
