hela Sverige Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a heavy truck manufacturer to a provider of sustainable transport solutions. IT is a vital enabler on this change journey. Scania IT has therefore initiated a significant transformation towards data-driven software development, cloud computing and an agile way of working.
To strengthen our ability to protect and fully utilize our information we are now looking for an IT Security Specialist to join our team. The team currently consist of 8 people with IT-security focus handling topics such as security architecture, SIEM, malware protection and forensics.
What challenges do we offer?
As an IT Security Specialist at Scania you will:
Support the business organisation with expertise regarding all aspects of IT security
Act as a passionate security evangelist and for increased security awareness
Work tightly with many different teams within IT
Perform IT security risk assessments and threat modelling
Support the organisation in ensuring that we are secure enough to handle any cybersecurity threats for the future.
Have a key role in developing, implementing and operating the IT security capabilities that we need to prevent, detect and manage all relevant cybersecurity threats and incidents.
Perform Log analysis as well as incident forensics and root cause analysis
Optimize and perfect of our technical security systems
Be actively detecting and analysing cybersecurity threats and incidents as well as to coordinate and manage the efforts to mitigate these.
Coordinate security incident management both centrally and internationally
Be a part of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
What profile do we believe you have?
For you to be successful in this role we believe that:
You have an education within the IT security area and also a few years of working experience with IT security. You are passionate about working with the technical aspects of cybersecurity, both on an infrastructure and application layer.
You are structured and analytical, focusing on quality in the details but with a holistic approach to security, focusing on the needs of the business and our customers.
You are a skilled communicator who can communicate both IT- and information security topics to business management as well as technical staff.
You have a pragmatic and smart approach to solving security challenges, practicing with high integrity and following established best practice. You are confident in your competence and knowledge.
You have a deep understanding of both the non-technical and technical side of IT- and information security.
You are fluent in English, and additional languages such as Swedish or German is a strong plus.
