Electromobility is the main focus of today's automotive industry, and Polestar is at the centre of this development, introducing world-class electrified cars and innovative, customer- focussed services and offers.
We will launch a range of electric vehicles over next three years. Polestar 1 has been presented, and another two models, Polestar 2 and 3, have been announced and are already under development.
Polestar now have an exciting opportunity for somebody that can work within a global fast paced, challenging start-up organisation, to initiate, scope and successfully managing the IT elements within a variety of business driven projects. The role will be part of the small but expanding IT organisation and appropriate product owners from a project delivery perspective.
Due to their rapid business growth we are looking for a result-driven member to the IT team who is capable of delivering a number of projects running in parallel at any one time, who wants to be part of building up something new, and who thrives in a changing environment.

What you will do
• Acts as the critical interface point between the Business and the delivery team(s), be responsible in the project for the IT Delivery
• Work closely with all stakeholders to understand the business requirements for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
• Day-to-day running of multiple projects through the projects entire lifecycle, within budget and set timescales
• Define (or use predefined) the deliverables and requirements, resource requirements, and work plan for the project, and manage their development, rollout and delivery
• To estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies
• Ensure solutions delivered in accordance with internal IT governance guidelines and processes
• Facilitate issue and risk resolution where appropriate, including appropriate mitigation plans
• Facilitate and manage change control where appropriate
Skills and competencies suitable for the role
A proven strong track record of performing a similar role, with demonstrable skills managing and delivering technology enabled projects.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills:
• Project Management experience (at least 3 years)
• Knowledge of MS Project, or other project planning applications / tools
• Good experience in successfully delivering within a digital, enterprise and infrastructural landscape
• Accreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of, a recognised project management framework such as PRINCE2. Knowledge of and experience of working in SCRUM/Agile delivery teams
• Good technical background with a desire to continue learning
• Ideally educated to degree level or a recognized professional qualification
