WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Manager for the IT Operations team you will be responsible for a highly skilled team of technicians, maintaining the global IT platform. This position will provide operational leadership of a variety of infrastructure services, including server, network, storage, telecom, automation, monitoring, security and other platform components as well as the operations across our regional offices. The IT department within Axis is a truly cross functional department, working very close with all parts of the business. Our responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective IT infrastructure at Axis.
Your responsibilities will include:
Recruiting, training and coaching IT team
Establish IT department goals
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
Develop, track, and control the annual operating and capital budgets
Engaging vendors to resolve issues with hardware & software problems
Ensure planned IT projects meet expected results and business objectives
Meet with business stakeholders to identify needs & propose solutions
Collaboration with departments and employees globally
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
Management experience
Open minded, encouraging, knowledge sharing, a true team builder
Experience in vendor management, technical management and end user support
Effective communication skills for large, multi-national audiences
Comprehensive understanding of the complexities in a global IT environment
Networking capabilities and strong relationship management
Self-motivated and strategic thinking
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
Efficient problem solver and team builder
We believe that you have a university degree or similar and that you have several years of working experience as a manager or in a leadership position, preferably in an IT environment. You feel at home in a global, ever changing environment and the complexity that comes with. In addition to that we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important you are an open and driven person with a genuine interest in your job, service minded and communicative.
