AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals has an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following key role for the IT Infrastructure Specialist Web Application. The position is based in Bohus, but since Specialty Chemicals have global presence, you will be handling requests from all regions we operate in.
Responsibilities
The IT Infrastructure Specialist supports the business by providing customers technical and quality services worldwide such as expertise in administration, design, development, maintenance and support of SharePoint site collections and other web applications.
• Lead or participate in new application analysis, development and deployment
• Support existing intranet/internet applications including user and system support
• Perform end-user training on intranet applications
• Adhere to policies and standard through the world wide operation on all critical tasks.
• Manage costs and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement.
Job requirements / Candidate profile
• Academic Education in Computer Science
• Several years of experience of general IT/IS operations
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Experience of working in a global organization
• Driver's license
To be successful in this position you should be a good team player that is technically skilled and eager to contribute to continuous improvements. You have strong administrative skills and an academic degree, plus work experience from relevant areas. You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing and as a person you are curious, responsible and result oriented.
This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the Regional Infrastructure Manager SE.
