Global Customer Support is a division of growth, with a responsibility to support close to 15.000 installations worldwide we need to ensure optimal quality in everything we do.
We are searching for an IT engineer who are motivated by IT-systems and have some knowledge of automation, safety and DP systems to strengthen our team.
Kongsberg Maritime delivers IMS solutions to offshore and maritime operators with automation, navigation or DP system installations. The core value of the IMS initiative is to increase the safety and efficiency of all operations. Our deliveries are located all over the world within a very large variety of vessels and offshore installations.

Key responsibilities include:
IMS services.
Remote Diagnostics.
Responsible for database applications (SQL, Access, Rapid, Raima).
Responsible for compability testing of 3rd part software with KM software.
Follow up deliveries with IMS.
Train system engineers and technical advisers.
Research potentials for increasing safety and revenue for offshore and maritime operations.
Traveling to be expected.
Skills:
Excellent cooperative skills.
Solution oriented.
Have persistence, drive and the ability to follow through.
Higher technical education
Experienced and interested in IT / IMS
Knowledge and experience with maritime control systems is an advantage.
The position reports to Customer Support Manager, Integrated Control Systems.
