hela Sverige Siemens Financial Services is in strong growth and faces exciting challenges. We are now looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to our IT-department in Umeå.
Our division Siemens Financial Services is a global financing company within the Siemens Group. We create modern, flexible and customized financing solutions for our partners and customers that contribute to their growth and efficiency. In the Nordics we are about 170 employees and operate from our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå, Helsinki, and Oslo.
The challenge
SFS uses the custom-built service SieSmart as business critical point-of-sale and middle-office application for its leasing business in multiple countries. We are looking for an additional colleague to specify business requirements, produce solution concepts and manage implementation of change requests. This position is a key role in the Global Competence Center SieSmart which is in charge of enhancing, upgrading, maintaining and operating the global IT service SieSmart.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Identify, elicit and evaluate business requirements from SFS COF countries with special focus on Spain
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into appropriate IT solution designs in line with the defined IT strategic boundary conditions. Be the interface between key users from business and external development teams
• Identify and leverage synergies of existing and new functionalities. Evaluate solutions with regard to the impact on the current and planned application landscape. Ensure compliance to Siemens and IT regulations and guidelines (e.g. IT Security Guidelines)
• Collaborate with external developers in making suitable tradeoffs between usability and performance to achieve required service quality. Ensure that external developers fully understand and deliver scalable & cutting edge solutions
• Manage service requests and deliver required system configurations. Support key user trainings and contribute to audit executions
• Contribute to the technical and operational documentation including test cases. Support system and user acceptance tests as well as incident and problem resolution
Your profile:
• You have about three years of experience, preferably in the financial sector, with an application or business analyst background
• You are analytic and are able to prioritize and manage your own time
• You are highly positive, self- driven and motivated, able to work alone or as part of a busy geographically virtual team, willing to assist colleagues and support team members in achieving goals and objectives
• You have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills
• You have technology-related skills in financial applications, systems & platforms. You also have experience from methods and tools in requirements as well as IT solution engineering (e.g. UML, BPMN)
• You are familiar with SQL-querying and database structures and have experience from managing IT projects. Experience from integration's from other Fintechs via web solutions (REST API, XML) would be advantageous. You also have business process knowledge, preferably from commercial banking, treasury, finance and leasing etc.
• You are fluent in English and Spanish
