Other areas of work include verification and validation of software products, as well as user training. Participation in tasks for IT enterprise architecture is also within the scope of work.
our client is looking for up to five Business Analyst consultant(s) to perform tasks in the area of business analysis and software production. This will require experience in eliciting, analysing and documenting business needs, business processes, and functional and non-functional requirements for software. Other areas of work include verification and validation of software products, as well as user training. Participation in tasks for IT enterprise architecture is also within the scope of work.
Tasks and Deliverables by the Consultant
• Liaise closely with all the project stakeholders, including business owners, end users, Project Managers, and Enterprise and Solution Architects. ? Assist business owners with articulating vision and writing business cases. ? Perform stakeholder analysis and assist strategic stakeholders in defining business needs. ? Model, document, analyse, and propose improvements to business processes and data models. ? Requirements elicitation and analysis, critical review of business requests, verification and validation, ensuring proper documentation and traceability. ? Support business owners and Project Managers in the prioritization of requirements. ? Assist in writing test cases and contribute to testing in different stages. ? Create and maintain technical and user documentation. ? Prepare and conduct user training. ? Prepare contents of feasibility and related studies for IT and non-IT projects. ? Conduct peer reviews of studies and requirements specifications. ? Act as backup for Project Managers in case of their absence. ? Take the role of Project Manager for minor activities.
Tools and standards expected to be used include:
• Sparx Enterprise Architect as modelling tool, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for requirements management and K2 for workflow automation. ? Documentation with use cases/ user stories, UML and/or ArchiMate. ? Software development processes following a CMMI-Dev and Scrum-based model.
