hela Sverige IKEA IT is looking for an IT Architecture Manager, (ITAM), who will be responsible for Enterprise Architecture within the Creating process. You will report in line to the IT Delivery Process Manager for Creating and within the matrix to the Enterprise Architect Manager who is directly subordinate to the CIO.
The IKEA group of companies work with four principal processes - Creating, Supporting, Supplying and Retail. IKEA IT is organised in the same way. As ITAM you will be responsible for our architectural road map and shall have an overall picture of Creating's system IT landscape. Creating has some 40 major applications, these being different systems for product development and product information.
Several of the systems were developed in-house and need to be phased out. The IT landscape shall be standardised and simplified, we have several complex integrations with other systems. Our task, amongst other things, is to establish and implement the strategy, investigate and document the landscape, secure investments through the "IT Blueprint", by means of feasibility studies and verifying proposed solutions. We shall concentrate on what IKEA shall have, whilst our partners shall focus on how this shall be solved. For several years IKEA IT has outsourced application management.
IKEA is large and complex organisation, you will be required to collaborate with several different functions within IKEA. You have a close collaboration with the businesses, for example, Demand Manager and Business Architecture. You must understand and be aware of their needs and strategies in order to be able to judge the level of your own strategy. You will also represent Creating in a group consisting of IKEA's top management of enterprise architecture.
Your role will be to run the long and short-term strategic work with a starting point from IKEA's overall strategies. IKEA has a stated strategic direction to move towards more standardised systems. To help you, you will have your four IT Architects.
Within Creating, IKEA has, amongst other things, implemented the standard system Windchill-PLM for Product Lifecycle Management. This is one example of a platform that can be further developed and where its use can be further increased.

The role makes great demands of your strategic, communicative and cooperative abilities. In the dialogues with the different parties and businesses, good leadership qualities are required as well as a good pedagogic and diplomatic ability.
We are looking for you - a person that has academic qualifications within IT. You have long experience of Enterprise Architecture issues in complex and comprehensive organisations. You are used to work based on processes and in comprehensive projects and you have good knowledge of TOGAF or the equivalent. You are well acquainted with the different challenges that exist in conjunction with requirements, and the verifying and implementation of standard systems. You have the ability to drive strategic issues and projects for change.
