BestOne Room AB is a company which works with the owner of the real estates. We help the owner of the real estate to find the best tenants. We help them to build a contract which is benefit to both parties. We help the low-income group to find the best housing over their suspect. We help the owner of the real estate to develop more living spaces inside the building. We have a professional service team who is waiting in call every time.
About the position
The IT Architect is responsible for the daily Operations & Support as well as architecture and services of the website and belongs to the IT department, reporting to the CEO.
As the majority of operations is managed by external suppliers, the IT Architect is responsible for defining requirements for suppliers within his or her area of responsibility, this includes infrastructure such as data centres, UPS, storage, databases, communications etc. The IT Architect will be the focal point between stakeholders within BestOne Room AB and their customers.
Key responsibilities includes:
• Analysis and reporting to all levels of the company
• Definition, implementation and follow-up of services within Operations & Support as well as infrastructure
• Development of the Service Desk function, implementing an ITIL mind set
Your background
We think that the ideal candidate has a technical background with knowledge of both Microsoft and Linux environments, most likely you have a Master's degree in Computer Science of similar.
Your experience and competence probably includes:
• Managing a global IT Operations organization
• Taking responsibility managing infrastructure, especially transforming from an on premise setup to cloud services and external suppliers
• Understanding financial consequences upon architectural decisions
• Cost monitoring, follow-up and optimization
• Even though the role has no direct reports, experience of managing staff is beneficial
On a personal level we think the ideal candidate is a strong communicator, networker and motivator - you have a "Yes we can"-mind set always keeping the business needs in focus. We will emphasize personal fit for the position.
English is the required language. Chinese is a plus because all the owners are from China.
