Responsibilities
The IT Analyst is responsible for IT application development and project leadership through the full project life-cycle from the initial problem / requirement identification relating to our main
legacy system. The position will also act as key point of contact between the business and offshore development.
• Manage, co-ordinate and solve application support development cases relating to our in life-systems.
• Across Capital Solutions throughout the Nordic countries, applying project management tools and Quality methodologies. This includes generation of detailed system design and test specifications.
• Deployment of IT solutions into production environments, ensuring the solution is integrated into the business.
• Facilitate communication on complex support issues between business and support team.
• Identify and address project risks and issues, escalating actions to the project board where necessary.
• Ensure projects are kept on time and within budget.
Qualifications
• University Degree in IT Management, Computer Science or similar
• Advanced project management skills.
• Excellent organisation, problem solving, communication, prioritisation and facilitation skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task.
• Strong vendor management skills including the ability to negotiate and communicate directly with senior personnel.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written; any other language an advantage.
