Job brief
We are looking for highly skilled Test Automation Engineers to join a team at one of our clients in Stockholm. You will be part of an agile team (typically 6-10 people) working together to build and test highly-performant iOS apps. They use:
• Selenium/Appium
• Java
• XCUITest
• Continuous delivery
• Best development practices
• Agile and lean values
Key responsibilities
• You will develop automated tests for our pipelines, support with manual testing when needed and participate in evolving the iOS application.
• "You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It". This is their ethos and you will be expected to take part of the full software life cycle to ensure reliability and up-time of the production environment.
• You will participate in grooming sessions and design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Vital skills
• English language proficiency
• As an experienced mobile Test Automation Engineer, you can drive Quality Assurance in product delivery.
• You are well-versed in modern iOS technologies and their application. Experience in mobile apps test automation development for iOS is required.
• You have written automated test cases for iOS apps using Appium or similar framework.
• You understand the technical life cycle of complex projects from inception to mobile app deployment where test planning, implementation, execution and reporting play an important part.
• You build scalable automation test suits that provides quality assurance to product deliverables.
• You think about what is good for the products in the long term when you make design decisions
• You have a collaborative mindset with focus on team delivery
• You help mentor and onboard new team members
• You are a role model in behaviour (communication, collaboration - within and across teams) with a positive mindset
• You are proactive in communication towards all stakeholders including the team
• You are experienced at solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• You are passionate and experienced with test automation in an iOS environment but are not hesitant to help with manual testing if needed!
