hela Sverige As an iOS Developer you will be responsible for our mobile user experience on iOS. You have a passion for software craftsmanship and mobile applications in particular. You know iOS like the back of your hand and appreciate a great user experience on either platform.
We are working in an agile environment and we expect you understand the concept of Minimum Viable Product and how to build products according to its principles. You deliver results reliably and without surprises in a team setting as well as individually and you always assume responsibility and comprehend what needs to be done, why and how.
Responsibilities include
• Design and develop apps for mobile and tablet.
• Define requirements and bring your own ideas to the table with an open mind.
• Test and do QA on the things you build.
• Ship what you build App Store.
• Follow up on what you build, fix bugs, analyze usage and respond to customer feedback.
We expect you to have?
• Excellent skills in English, written and spoken
• Excellent, proven skills in iOS development
• Experience of testing apps using unit tests and UI tests
• Experience of building a non-trivial mobile app from scratch
• Experience of building mobile apps that integrate with web APIs serving json
We want you to have
• Experience of setting up a CI build environment
• Experience of media player applications
• A strong sense for UX
• Skills in the Arabic language (written and/or spoken)
We also expect you to be familiar and confident using tools and techniques such as git, dependency injection, debugging, monitoring & logging, crash reports and more.
Kitab Sawti is a Swedish startup based in Stockholm with branches in Cairo and Dubai. We are building an Arabic audiobook service with the goal to spread the great knowledge, culture and joy that literature brings through an accessible media.
