Our Stockholm Office is currently recruiting a Invest Deputy Officer for the Nordic Countries Job description.
The role will primarily involve informing companies about the advantages of a Flanders based location and will include:
• detecting potential companies interested in setting up their business in Flanders
• developing prospection target lists and contacting "cold calls"
• networking and visiting companies in the Nordic countries
• suggesting and developing alternative invest related actions
• organising marketing events for Flanders Investment & Trade. These will include conferences, seminars, hosting visitors in
Flanders etc.
• collaborating with our offices in Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki (they will supply leads) and reporting to our Headquarters in
Brussels
Person specification
The candidate will be:
• university degree educated (or higher)
• fluent in English (Dutch is preferred but not essential)
• self confident and assertive with at least 4 years of commercial experience
• an excellent communicator (telephone work will be a considerable part of the job)
• willing to travel within Europe
Training will be provided.
