The Communication & PR unit is part of the university's administration. It works with external and internal communication, marketing and student recruitment, press services and monitoring, research communication, events and management of the university's websites.
Job description
You will be responsible for building up Södertörn University's international marketing and communication, focusing on student recruitment.Your role is to encourage more international students, primarily from countries outside the EU, to study at Södertörn University and to support communication with international students during their studies.You work with marketing and communication in English in various channels, communicating with a young and ambitious target group.In your role as a communications officer, you work systematically on expanding these activities and with planning, executing and following up communication with the target group.
To be successful you must be able to cooperate with your colleagues in the Communication & PR unit and others at the university.
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor's degree specialising in external communications and/or marketing, or the equivalent competence gained in another manner.You speak and write English fluently and your Swedish skills are adequate for working freely with material in Swedish.You know how to adapt communication for different target groups, channels and purposes.You are very familiar with project management and working using digital channels.You can write texts unimpeded, but are also able to reformulate other people's texts, both in Swedish and English when necessary.You are used to working with integrated communication and making presentations to English-speaking target groups.

Experience of international student recruitment is beneficial.

This position is until further notice. Six months of probation may apply. Commencing as soon as possible.
