The Credit and Export financing team is one very diverse team. With 5 different nationalities, we master 6 languages. We are passionate about contributing to customer satisfaction and success by supporting sales with financial solutions. We leverage on our network, knowledge, experience and holistic view in order to identify and mitigate risks and support sales with the best financial solutions. We are a center of expertise and offer our services to all the truck brands of the Volvo Group.
After an integration period to acquire an overall understanding of the group rules, the different tools used in credit and export financing, you will participate actively to the teams operations by taking responsibilities of certain territories first in credit management and then in export financing. You will have the opportunity to interact with our markets and in cooperation with the sales team, importers and partners investigate the best solutions for our customers
Tasks would include:
The candidate will learn to master risk, export finance and trade finance solution in international markets:
• Credit risk management: assessment of risks and setting up appropriate guarantees
• Negotiations with financial institutions: banks, credit insurers
• Financial analysis
• Documentation handling for customer financing
• Commercialization of the financial offer to importers and customers in international markets
Travel
2 days per month depending on the topic. Could be more when covering the commercialization of the financial offer.

Overall requirements:
• Master of Science or Business Administration
• Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
• Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit)
• Maximum of two years previous work-experience prior to or after graduation
• International experience is meriting
Additional requirements
French is a strong advantage
Spanish, Portuguese if possible
Banking experience appreciated
