Imagine yourself being a customer. You expect that your requirements will be treated with 100% focus. You expect that you will get a clear communication of when and how your expectations will be fulfilled. You expect that you will get your required item on time.
In order to give the customer, the best service, we need to have dedicated Internal Procures. Are you the one that can combine your service mindset, curiosity, problem solving mindset and communication skills in procuring the items that our customer needs?
Nothing is impossible. Well, isn't that a cliché, you might think. It surely is. But clichés exist for a reason.
This is what you are going to do
You will be one of three Internal Procures that will drive Product Builds, Volvo Group Trucks Technology towards our future.
You will, be responsible for procuring parts for our prototype builds for Heavy Duty Truck/Transport solutions. You will secure pars from our Volvo factories around the world.
Meeting Lead time requirements are important, since we want our customers to be able to drive our products with 100% satisfaction.
You welcome Changes. You are flexible and solution oriented. You will also drive continuous improvement in alignment with stakeholders/colleagues within Volvo Group Technology and by that you will influence the product and our process. In other words, you will strengthen Volvo Groups competitive advantage by understanding the business needs and the supplier. You are interested and curious in new technology but also in well-established technologies

Yesterday I asked my colleagues how they should describe Volvo Group Technology and Prototype Purchasing. All of them had something in common. They all believe high performance comes from having fun and the courage to take action. We all need to work together having the Volvo Core values as a guiding star. Doing the same thing as we did yesterday will not make much of a difference. And this is where you come into the picture. You as we believe in action, collaboration and clear communication. Our team is a team of 16 team members, and we all work together and support each other. We count on you as well to be willing to do that! An important part for all of us is to interact and collaborate with other parts of the Volvo Group and represent Internal Procurement in related forums.
Who are you?
You speak and write excellent Swedish & English
You are a strong and flexible team player, eager to challenge and improve.
You have a can-do approach: you have a positive mindset, high level of energy, and you are ready to tackle challenges.
You demonstrate superior communication skills
You enjoy managing many parallel activities and you have a target-oriented approach with the customer in focus.
Former experience as a material controller or procurer with technical background and automotive experience are considered as assets.
You have a degree from Logistics/Production planning or similar.
