In Gothenburg we develop one of the world's foremost analytics software, TIBCO Spotfire. Spotfire is a highly interactive visualization tool, which is used for analyzing anything from drug research data to sales figures. Our products help people in a wide range of business fields all over the world discover new insights in their data. Which new drugs should be researched? Which flat screens pass quality tests? Which stocks should be in the investment portfolio?
Your responsibilities:
As a member of our User Experience Team, you will be responsible for creating the interaction design for upcoming features in our products.
You will be involved in the entire process; from early prototypes and conceptual designs, to the final design of a new feature. You keep the big picture in mind and make sure coherency is kept throughout the product.
You will also be involved in various initiatives to improve the overall usability of our products. TIBCO has a long tradition of interactive products that are easy to use. As one of our interaction designers you are important to our organization. Your opinions are highly valued and much appreciated by your co-workers.
Your qualifications:
You are an interaction designer with both a talent for conceptual design work and with strong UI design skills.
You are able to analyze complex problems and be a driving factor in providing a solution.
You are quick to learn new aspects of a product in order to provide input on design.
Working in a team environment suits you well. You will be working closely with developers, other interaction designers, technical writers, and testers.
You are fluent in both English and Swedish - spoken as well as written language.
