We 3D scan a consumer both accurately and quickly and then match the scan to a pair of shoes or apparel. We also provide our customers the data they require to develop better products. We do this by utilizing beautifully designed high tech software and hardware.
Volumental is a startup with approximately 30 people currently in a strong growth phase. Having begun rolling out in 2016, our products are now with businesses in 32 countries. Volumental's products are at present technologically unparalleled in the global retail industry, with our technology team having invested years solving a series of difficult problems. This has placed Volumental in a unique position as the global technology leader for 3D Retail Scanning.
As Volumental's interaction designer you will be analyzing user goals, business goals and technical requirements and turning it into real products. Driving product development through personas, storyboards, user flows you will be turning input into flows, sketches, prototypes and mockups.
You will be working in a cross-disciplinary work environment bringing advanced technology all the way to a compelling and branded digital experience. You will be working in tight collaboration together with our Product Owners, developers and our Creative Director.
3 years professional experience of how to build products and services that users and customers will love.
Fluent in UX/UI, usability, and human-computer interaction.
Efficiently transform research, customer feedback and end-user behavior into new ideas and designs using science-based methods.
Experienced in creating, testing and communicating interaction designs: sketches, wireframing and prototyping.
Produce design concepts and proof of concepts, which consider both user needs and business goals.
A good understanding of technical limitations and possibilities.
An excellent team player in a cross-disciplinary setting. You are a good listener and observer of people.
Experience working with user-bases and customers from outside of the EU.
Volumental was founded by Caroline Walerud, Alper Aydemir, Miroslav Kobetski and Rasmus Göransson in December 2012. Starting from PhD research in robotics and computer vision at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Swedish Volumental is disrupting shoe shopping using computer vision and artificial intelligence. Our technology is being used by leaders in the footwear industries who use customer data to personalize the shopping experience.
The team of 30 is quickly growing and already includes top researchers and experts, including five PhD:s in computer vision and machine learning. We have 9 nationalities and about half the team is women. Harnessing the power of 3D scanning, and artificial intelligence; Volumental is changing the future of footwear. Volumental's team hails from the world's top institutions, and has logged time at leading business and tech companies. Our tech founders and professor advisor hold four patents and have founded four startups.
