The department Electrical Systems Design is responsible for the entire electrical system. Electrical Systems Design consists of seven sections and the group Analysis and Verification base tech is a part of the section System Verification, which is responsible for testing all base technologies in the electrical platform. Base tech testing implies both integration and system testing. In integration testing we verify compatibility between ECU hardware and ECU software, whereas system testing involves the complete vehicle such as SWDL - Software download, diagnostics and gateway communication etc. within the vehicle's electrical system.

Main responsibilities
The responsibility of an integration tester is to test according to integration design verification method in all Volvo Projects and support the entire team. You will have a tight communication with project leaders and need to not only perform your own tests but also to present them at CRB meeting.
You will be collaborating with a cross functional focus with other teams. Working with base technologies testing means that you establish and develop relationships with people within almost all electrical areas since you will be working in all Volvo car projects.
Required qualifications
* M.Sc or B.Sc. within Computer science, Electronics or equivalent
* Experience in Phyton coding and Automation
* Experience with PIE, KDP, VIDA, VCATS and DSA are meritorious
* Certified by "International Software Testing Qualifications Board" (ISTQB) is meritorious
* Experience within Volvo Cars are beneficial
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driving license "B"

We are looking for curious person, hungry to learn new skills and challenged by new technology. You should be structured and organized with a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills and being a strong team player are strongly desired, as well as being pro-active and very much self-driven, with the confidence and ability to work also independently.
