Our Integration team is, together with selected service providers, responsible for development and maintenance of Eltel's strategic integration platform, Microsoft BizTalk Server, and other legacy integration platforms. Our task is to ensure a smooth flow of information between Eltel's customers and field technicians, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are now looking for an additional Integration Designer to join our international team.
As Integration Designer you will be responsible for defining functional and technical requirements for new B2B-integrations, together with Eltel's customers and field personnel. You will produce specifications and technical artifacts for our integration service provider, participate in testing of the solution, and ensure that the integration is adequately documented and handed over to production. Also continuous development of existing integrations falls under your responsibility.
Depending on your skills and interests, your role may also include other responsibilities such as development of testing processes and strategies for integrations.
In order to be successful in this position you should have either bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or other relevant field. Background in software development and ability to read code is essential in this role including deep knowledge in software development methods. Experience in working with Microsoft BizTalk or other integration platform is considered an advantage. As our B2B integrations are essentially automated business processes, you should also have keen interest in what "they are actually used for", instead of considering them as purely technical solutions. Therefore some experience in field service or contractor business would be seen as an advantage. You should feel comfortable working with consultants and other external service providers as well as customer personnel (both business and technical). It is key that you write well formulated specifications that developers find easy to work with.
You are able to communicate fluently in English, fluency of Finnish and/or Swedish is considered as an advantage as are skills in other languages spoken in the Baltic region.
You may be based either in Finland (Espoo) or in Sweden (Stockholm or Kristianstad).
