The main challenge we face today is that we need to step away from mostly utilizing expensive classroom training that only reaches a few, to instead leverage state of the art technology
like virtual reality and augmented reality. This technology would both enable virtual hands-on training wherever you are, as well as globally provide digital training machines to all of
our staff and customers. This would, in turn, also enable the spreading of knowledge faster, wider and much more efficient than ever before.
This is where you come in.
You would be joining Getinge Academy's global instructional design team within the department Training Support & Expertise. The team is focused on delivering efficient training, mostly online,
in all kind of ways. Everything from PDFs, SCORM packages and graphics to quizzes, videos and comics will be part of your repertoire but your focus, and where we are lacking the skills today,
is within VR/AR. You would report to the Senior Manager of the Training Support & Expertise department but much of your work will be managed together with the instructional design team.
The team consists of a handful specialists that all can pull their weight creating the above mentioned content but also specifically Articulate 360 based eLearning.
They are all curious, hardworking team players that never hesitate to help out a colleague and reprioritize their own work for the sake of the team delivery.
They are always learning and willing to try new things as well as continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of already existing training.
The role requires international travel.
This position could also be located in HQ Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmo or Kopenhavn.
Your key responsibilities within instructional design will be:
Analyzing relevance and development of learnings materials, e.g. eLearning (SCORM), VR/AR production, videos, images, illustrations, animations, presentation assets, layout support etc.
The VR/AR development software, environment, hardware and management
Managing training requests of learning material within the established development process to ensure high quality and efficiency
Together with the team prioritize current and future projects and tasks
Manage necessary updates, validation & testing for support errands regarding learning materials
Who are you?
If you have worked extensively with VR/AR in a training environment, you're already suitable for the job. If you also have experience with eLearning, Articulate Storyline, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office,
working in international teams, well, then we really want you in our team!
