Oriflame is working with Blatteförmedlingen to find a Senior Category Buyer
Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or Business (or equivalent degree)
• Fluency in English
• At least three years work experience within purchasing
• Work experience in food, nutrition or dietary supplement products
Skills and characteristics
• Strong negotiation skills - enjoys making a good deal
• Team player - experience of delivering within a cross-functional team
• Commercial awareness ? understands cost drivers and enjoys doing business
• Clear and concise internal and external communication
• Ability to cope with a high workload and deliver within tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks and responsibilities independently
Job Description
Purpose of the role
Manage the purchasing activities within the Wellness category ensuring successful business awards on time in full at the best possible cost with the best possible suppliers. The senior buyer is responsible for standard and purchasing costs for all products in the category.
Form the category purchasing strategy in alignment with Strategic Sourcing. Work on specific Purchasing projects. Drive changes and improvements to the work processes in the category.
Identify and lead value creation opportunities. Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers and develop relationships with suppliers.
