PROFILE- C-programming (multi thread) (REQUIRED)
• Linux (REQUIRED)
• Embedded SW design on multicore platforms (REQUIRED)
• Good communication skills (fluent in English) (REQUIRED)
• Experience in Telecom industry (3G/LTE/5G, Layers 1 and/or 2 of the protocol stack) (WANTED)
• Experience in Agile development (WANTED)
• Git (WANTED)
WORK DESCRIPTION- Providing higher LTE development efficiency, breaking unnecessary SW dependencies and preparing the SW architecture to support anticipated features requirements.
• Ensuring LTE scalability, making the SW scalable to suit different HW and providing flexible deployment of e.g. multiple digital units.
• Ensuring long term LTE capacity on current and planned hardware platforms.
• Work is primarily done in C-programming, but there are some tests in Erlang as well. We use Git, Gerrit and Jenkins on a daily basis. Knowledge in the 3GPP standards need to be applied with focus on the L1 and L2 concepts.
