Partner Manager for Arctic Business

We are looking for a driven Partner Manager who will be responsible for building our relationships with larger national and international industry. The Partner Manager will also lead our newly started business unit 'Collab', which attracts international industry and SME/startups to northern Sweden's top industries. This is to create opportunities for start-ups and global partners, drive development outside their core business.

Arctic Business today has close collaborations with several different industrial partners in space and other sector, Collab Composites is in the process of collaborating with Piteå Science Park, RISE, composites companies and global players such as SAAB and Hitachi Energy.

Collab has just started, and we will in the future approach more industrial partners and in more industries such as space, energy and minerals. The role of Partner Manager includes attracting more industry partners within various industries to this.

The role

In the role of Partner Manager, you report to the CEO of Arctic Business. As Partner Manager, you will develop Collab operations in line with Arctic Business' strategy and build relationships with the right partners for us and our startups.

In 2024, Collab Composites is run by the Partner Manager together with the CEO. You evaluate and start Collab further in at least one sector in addition to composite. Within one to two years, the role may involve personnel responsibility for 1-2 people.

The Partner Manager will also lead the packaging of our local offers (from science parks, testbeds, other) per sector, be responsible for marketing and attracting SMEs/startups to apply to solve the industry challenges that are presented and moderate collaborations between industry - SMEs/Startups - local experts and partners. The role involves contacts with local partners as well as company management at international companies. The work will largely take place in project form to create conditions for establishments and collaborations between companies, municipalities, and higher education institutions.

Location is at one of our offices in Piteå, Luleå or Skellefteå. Some traveling between the towns and nationally/internationally occurs.

Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a driven person who wants to lead our partner's business and develop our relationship with national and international industry with the support of resources from Arctic Business, local partners, science parks and industries as well as other partners. As we work in an academic world, we see academic education as a requirement.

The role requires that you are confident in decision-making and have the ability to lead and motivate through others. In the short term will drive and carry out the work while in the long term lead a smaller team. We see the role as more of a commercial/sales nature than technical.

We would like to see that you have competence in marketing and understand how we can reach out on an international level within B2B. You understand that relationships are an important part of developing the business. We believe that you have worked directly with, for example, CEOs and technical managers in your previous roles. and understands the challenges and reality of larger companies. We also hope that you are confident in leading, for example, workshops and meetings and can stand on stage and speak and present freely in English. If you know more languages, this is meritorious.
