We are looking for an Industrialization Engineer who will join our team, we coordinate and execute the industrialization activities needed for new and updated products within the Industrialization Engineering department.
Your key duties will be to represent Industrialization Engineering in product maintenance and product development projects. You will ensure that assembly of Permobil products are targeted by producability, cost efficiency, safety and lean perspectives, i e Design for Assembly (DFA). This applies on mechanical, mechatronical and electrical items.
Training others will also be part of this position where you train the trainer in new and updated assembly at production units for Power Products, i e part of design transfer of a product. You need to ensure that new and updated assembly at Permobil production units is documented by sufficient and relevant level of global instructions.
It will be your responsibility to work on producability by standardization and best practice. You will also coordinate the work around pre-series built in Permobil Industrialization Line within product development projects.
Qualifications
We believe that you have a university degree within engineering or equivalent education along with a portion of work experience from Product Development, Production Engineering, Project Management or similar positions.
You have experience from flow line production set-ups and processes - how they are created, adjusted and fin tuned to be optimized for a certain production line.
You need knowledge in project management, engineering, lean theory and production. You also have solid understanding of product development processes as well as a technical understanding. You also need to be fluent in English.
