We are looking for an Industrial PhD who will help us develop Smart Maintenance. It 's an area of huge potential both within our organization and in Industry generally. Smart Maintenance is a prerequisite to succeed with digitalization to reach the vision of a disturbance free production. The possibilities for implementation have increased as data from machines becomes more accessible. For us to continue to be competitive, we must be the best at using the data. A well-established way of working has a positive impact on our results.
You will study for 5 years at the University / College we choose together as a suitable partner.
You will run projects during your studies in the area you are studying.
As an Industrial PhD student, you will collaborate with both local and global organizations in the field.
Purpose and aim with the role
Develop the Sustainability perspective in our production processes by using data to optimize available production time
Develop a support system to identify and predict deviations, diagnose root causes, recommend countermeasures, and estimate the effect.
Help us to increase the competence in our organization linked to Smart Maintenance

Experiences
• You have experience from Industry or equal relevant experience
• You have an MSc (Master of Science) or equal University credits
We are a team of colleagues around the world. It is important for us that you feel comfortable writing and speaking English as you will have a collaborative dialogue with colleagues around the world. You will present your findings and progress in different forums to spread competence.
As competence development is an important part of your assignment, we are happy to see that you are pedagogical and have a good communicative ability.
