a leading supplier of free standing cookers for domestic use in the Scandinavian
region. Today the factory in Motala employs approximately 400 people with
departments like Quality, Industrial Engineering, HR, Purchasing, Controlling,
IT, Pre Production and Assembly. Industrial Engineering Manager
The candidate will be responsible to drive the industrial engineering
process aiming to promote activities of continuous improvements to meet the
targets of productivity and efficiency. Furthermore the candidate will be a key
person for to the implementation of lean production principles (EMS). The
candidate will have the responsibility for a workgroup of approx. 10 employees
and be a member of the management team at the plant. Key operational
responsibilities To drive the industrial engineering process strategically
and operatively according to lean production (EMS) prenciples. Ensure
continuous improvements in terms of productivity and efficiency and cooperate
with other ade adequate departments. Ensure following the latest trends and
upgrading the knowledge in the profession to be able to lead the development in
the factory in terms of methods of production and assembly. To
continuously lead, motivate and develop people through active management and
leadership and by creating a good work environment. Reporting to Ola
Forslund, Plant Manager Competencies needed - Engineering
University Degree - Long experience as industrial engineering manager or
senior industrial engineering specialist in a high volumes manufaturing
industry. Electrolux experience is a plus. - Experience of equipment and
tools from the manufacturing industry. - Lean Manufacturing Projects
experience, (EMS is a plus). - Flexibility and capacity to cope with an
international and changing environment. - Analytical skills. - Good
understanding of the business requirements in the industrial side. - Swedish
and English is a must. Any other European language is a merit. - Proven
leadership, team building and communication skills.
