Ericsson Supply Site in Kumla is globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialization and initial production of the next generation radio base stations.

Publiceringsdatum2011-01-13Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Industrial Engineer, Object Leader role is:
• to do measurement and analyze data and performance from assigned part/parts of the HW Make Process
• to manage the daily support in line and process meetings
• to drive internal and external improvement forums to ensure input and feedback from line organization as well as R&D (Research & Development) and Product Management
• to define, create and implement education activities related to products and process
• to be an object leader within NPI/TPI projects, which means that you will secure and drive a team with different competencies to achieve your targets within the project
• to participate in NPI/TPI (New Production Introduction / Transfer Product Introduction) projects to secure that introductions of new products is in compliance with supply product, process and quality demands for an efficient volume/reference production
• to be responsible for communicating demands in the NPI/TPI project and be responsible for preparation of production equipment and production support systems during NPI/TPI phase
• to phase build, secure and document an efficient production line in NPI/TPI
• to work with finance (routing etcetera)
• to do capacity calculation MRP/TDM-processes
• to do balancing and efficiency planning of production lines
• to be the main driver of investments on a technology base
• to work and develop global solutions together with our sister factories globally
• to act as an instructor or teacher for concerned parties or groups
• to be a contact person against our production partners ex EMS
• to support the business and establish close cooperation with nearby functions.
Based on the outcome of analyzes, improvement activities shall be suggested and, when decided, planned, implemented and communicated to and within the affected process or process part.
You are a part of the industrial engineering organization.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We desire that you have a technical bachelor degree, or equivalent job experience.
You should also have:
• IS/IT competence, Office, CAD tools (CAD 2009, UG or ProE)
• methods engineering, AVIX, line size, DMAIC etcetera
• excellent knowledge of statistics, yellow belt level in Six Sigma is preferred
• language skills (fluent in Swedish and good in English, verbal as well as written).
We are also looking for you who are result oriented, taking initiative, have the ability to seek and use relevant information, good at problem solving and have creativity. Further on, your presentation skills are good (verbal as well as written) and you enjoy achieving working results with high quality and on time.
You are open-minded and like exploring new areas, like to work with people, have cultural awareness and are service-minded.
