For our Headquarters in Bad Homburg (Frankfurt area) we are searching for an:
Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities
• Assist in establishing operational methods and work standards using various measurement techniques
• Optimizes use of floor space, materials, personnel and equipment utilizing lean techniques
• Estimate hourly and salaried labor for new and existing programs
• Provides information for various management systems
• Analyzes existing operations and proposes cost justified improvements.
Qualification
• Higher education, preferably production/industrial engineering (or relevant)
• At least 3 years manufacturing experience
• At least 2 years on self-sufficient Industrial Engineer position
• Industrial Engineering tools knowledge
• Lean Manufacturing tools knowledge
• Green Belt certification will be an asset
• Knowledge of labor, process, floor space (machine layout), machine capacity and materials optimization (Experience w/ REFA and / or MTM Systems)
• Forging/machining/assembly driveshaft experience will be an asset
• Strong skills in working in international teams
• Confident, reliable and friendly representation on all levels
• CAD system capable (AutoCAD)
• Self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills
• Multi language written/verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook etc.)
