Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for an Independent Safety Validator for our Stockholm site.
You will play an important role for our development of signalling systems. As Independent Safety Validator you participate in projects as the independent expert in validating the system implementation against its requirements. This includes:
• Planning, following-up and summarizing the system validation in the areas of functional behaviour, performance, safety and reliability
• Performing reviews and conducting follow-up of important questions
• Arguing for the results of the system validation to external safety stake holders such as customer safety manager, independent safety assessor, certification body and national safety approval authority
You will also take part in the line organisation's continuous work with improving the efficiency of safety activities:
• Coaching and mentoring development engineers regarding safety awareness
• Developing and maintaining certain process documents
• Participating in improvement projects

Utbildning och erfarenhetDepending on your experience and your interests this role will allow you to develop your skills in;
• Validation and Safety engineering including issuing the Validation Plans and Validation Reports, performing the independent safety validations on projects and the production of safety deliverables (safety cases, hazard analysis).
• Substantial knowledge of CENELEC standards 50126, 50128, 50129, 50159-1, 50159-2, ISO/IEC 17020
• FMEA/ FTA knowledge
• Knowledge about RCS' products and processes
• Experience with CENELEC's V-model and its implementation
• Functional Safety competence
• Experience in working with Safety Authorities.
You need the following skills:
• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent, software, hardware or system development background
• Capable of handling conflict resolutions
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable in working with other engineering disciplines, project management and customers.
• Process oriented
• Fluent English language skills
