The company was founded in 1976 in the sailing metropolis of Marstrand, and here we still manufacture all our products today. We are proud of our advanced machine park and skilled staff, and the demand for our Swedish-made quality products is great. 85 percent is exported. Now we need to expand our press team with a really good press operator.
THE SERVICE: In the role of press machine operator at Rutgerson Marin, you are responsible for 2 hydraulic presses and an eccentric press where you alternate between automatic runs and manual deep drawing in stainless steel. You manufacture according to a production order and work with rigging, cutting of raw materials, maintenance of tools, programming, quality control and driving as part of a team of 3 people divided into two shifts. You will work 2 shifts where you work 4 days a week the week you worked evenings and 5 days a week when you work days you change shifts every other week between day and evening. During the day you work 2 people on the 3 machines and in the evening you are responsible for all the machines.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You like physical work and you probably have a similar role today. But above all, you are a really good machine operator and appreciated colleague who engages you and stands up for others. You are not afraid of anything and are happy to give you intricate tasks and find your own ways to facilitate your work. If you also like boating, you are guaranteed to thrive, but it is not a requirement. Experience of working with metal pressing is a requirement. It is a merit if you have previously worked with automatic hydraulic presses or excentric presses as well as deep drawing of stainless steel. We require that you can either speak fluent Swedish or English.
