The client is designing, manufacturing, installing, commissioning, and providing aftermarket service for a wide variety of drilling systems and equipment.
To the office in South Norway, Kristiansand we are now looking for Hydraulic Engineers to join the team.
The positions offer all-round and varied engineering assignments in a hectic and challenging project environment. The successful applicants will be part of a competent, creative and informal professional group that requires personal qualities such as independence, the ability to take initiative and to cooperate across professional disciplines and our various divisions.
Responsibilities will primarily be:
Design and calculation of hydraulic systems and components in accordance with international standards.
Preparation of Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, technical documentation and procedures in connection with project delivery.
Testing and standardisation of components and products.
A knowledge of the regulations applicable to the marine and offshore industry (ISO, DNV, ABS, PED, NORSOK).
Qualifications and skills:
We are looking for positive and motivated employees who want to move to Norway on a permanent basis. Prior experience within the oil and gas industry is not required but is an advantage. We are seeking engineers with a Masters or Bachelors degree. Hydraulic experience within the offshore industry or similar would be an advantage. An in-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electromechanical systems is essential. You must have good written and verbal presentation skills in English. You must be hard-working and be able to work both independently and in a team.
