hela Sverige We are looking for:
• 1resource for Installation Engineering more focus on IT. He will take care of the hardware for the IT hub, ie clean IT equipment. To accomplish the job you should have a background in IT hardware, preferably experience from IT labs where you have worked with the whole picture, also power and cooling.
• 2 resources with Installation Engineering experience on Ericsson hardware. Focus more on Core than on Radio. They will work with Coverged Core, Packet Core, maybe cloud. One of the tasks will partly be to create a process of packing HW in the cabinet more efficiently.
Job Summary
The Installation Engineer plans and documents the Hardware installation, with respect to space, power and cooling, based on thedesign and requirements from the user community of theIT and Testenvironment.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Review of Technical Specifications to ensure request will meet GIC standards.
• Documentation of assets with their location & hardware configuration and data & power connections.
• Document physical hardware location of racks, chassis, cards/modules, transceivers/attenuators and detailed cable connections
• Participation in meetings like Capacity Board and Operation Control Boards
• Technical support to internal customers, colleagues and installation personnel
Core Competences:
• Hardware hands-on knowledge of different Telecom or IT equipment related to dimensioning, power, cooling and connectivity
• Preferably knowledge of the Ericsson range ofdifferentcabinets
• Able to contribute to implement continuous improvements in the organization
• IT Processes, IT Tools & Infrastructure Knowledge
• Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills is an advantage
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Communication Skills
• Interpersonal Skills
Good to have:
• Experience from Ericsson is valued hight but also working experience from HW Data server environment in general.
• For former Ericsson employees its 2 years quarantine ie in this case must the latest working day have been 21/12-2015.
