hela Sverige As R&D Manager you will lead the research and development team at Global Product Group HVDC. We want you to continue our legacy to move the boundaries for HVDC systems and implement ground-breaking R&D in our range of HVDC products, with regard to a wide area of technologies such as high voltage engineering, control and protection designs, software systems, power electronics and mechanics design, software systems, power electronics and mechanics develop technology and design solutions for next generations of HVDC systems and products. This role will give you the opportunity to establish, develop and collaborate a worldwide network within R&D as well as challenge you both personally and professionally.
You hold at least a Masters' degree in Engineering together with relevant knowledge of and experience within R&D. You have experience from leading and managing people and business preferably within the electricity industry. Since we work in an international environment it is important that you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike.
As manager you need to have a strong drive that enables you to take R&D within HVDC to the next level. You should have a genuine interest in people as well as technology. Moreover, you as an individual should be driven by success and have the ability to achieve results by encouraging others. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English.

Its offering includes transformers, high-voltage products, power transmission systems, and grid integration and automation solutions - to enable a stronger, smarter and greener grid.
The HVDC System R&D is responsible for all R&D within HVDC system technology. This includes all parts of HVDC technology ranging from overall system design to valve control and overall system control design.
