hela Sverige Keeping in mind ABB's overall standards, strategy and goals you will define, coordinate and implement the Sourcing Strategy for the selected Categories. This includes Market Analysis, Material Category Strategies as well as Developing Category Roadmap with Global Category Managers and Classification of Suppliers. Furthermore, you would be involved in International Supplier Relationship Management which consists of, among other things, Supplier Risk Management, Development and Auditing. In addition, you conduct (E)RFX 's, leverage the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) activities and initiate Best Practice, Best Cost Country Sourcing and Make Or Buy Analysis and Implementation (TCO).
A sense of ownership will help you take responsibility for Planning, Initializing and Monitoring Strategic Sourcing Activities for Project & Business. Also, you are the go to person who supports business units in points of escalations - you Secure Material availability in production (OTD/OQD), while maintaining low inventory and innovative processes. You understand that New Product Developments and Early Involvement of Key Suppliers is the key to success while fulfilling SOX, OHS, EHS and Compliance guidelines helps you guarantee high quality and safe environment.
To be suitable for this role you have preferably more than five years of experience in the Industrial Environment and/or Strategic Supply Chain Management as well as good technical knowledge in Power Transmission. Experience in Sheet metal Fabrication is a Plus. You hold a University degree in Engineering, Logistics, SCM or in a similar field. You have worked in ERP systems, are familiar with MS Office tools and perhaps have experience with SAP. As you will be working in a global environment, you have extensive international experience and are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. Moreover, your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. Through extensive experience in negotiations you achieve commitment as well as results. Experience in the industry has made you structured and self-confident to handle both ups and downs and manage any problem that may occur.
You will be part of the central SCM organization in the NEU Hub for High
Voltage Products where the strategic sourcing for all manufacturing units in the HUB is done. Manufacturing plants are located on two sites in Sweden as well as in Poland, Belgium and England.
The SCM organization is responsible for Setting up & Executing Category Strategy, Supplier Selection, Negotiations, and involved in Supplier Qualification, Audits, Contracts etc. in accordance with the global guidelines of ABB. In addition to being involved in quality issues and escalations where the units need immediate assistance, the department also has the transport andlogistics function for the local units in Ludvika.
In total, including all units, the department consists of 30 persons.
