The construction of the new steel mill in Boden have now started, which is going to produce green steel. Fluor Corporation have been given the honor to lead the construction. This position will be on site in Boden, project H2 Green Steel.
At our project site in Boden, Sweden we are looking for an HSE PTW (Permit-to-work) Lead as of now. The purpose of this position is to apply diverse and complex technology constructs to propose new methods to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) related problems.
Day to Day and Strategic Activities Include:
• Work on projects of broad and diverse scope with HSE activities on medium to large-scale
• Responsible for the Permit-to-work (PTW) managementsystem procedure, used to ensure that work is done safely and efficiently.
• Take precautions, so that the actions can be performed in a non-hazardous way and following all governmental regulations
• Ensure affected personnel are aware of the nature of the work and the hazards associated with it, all safety precautions have been put in place before starting the task, and the work has been completed correctly
• Decide independently on actions to be taken in case of an emergency
• Apply regulatory requirements to provide guidance to project management, assist in monitoring and controlling HSE standards, applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain and apply a comprehensive knowledge of the Company's HSE standards, programs and goals by applying HSE procedures as established by the Company
• Establish and maintain communications with client representatives and project staff
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Publiceringsdatum2024-01-16ProfilTo succeed in the role, we see that you have:
• Accredited three-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six-years of work-related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates the capability to run a medium to large project, while being responsible for the Permit-to-work (PTW) managementsystem procedure. It is a requirement that you have a high critical thinking and reasoning ability. It is important that you can maintain and apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal guidelines. To thrive in this role you have to have a excellent organizational skills. The ability to attend to details and work in a time-effective manner is importent.
