Dina arbetsuppgifter
This HR Generalist role is responsible for the local delivery and execution of HR programs and policies as well as providing day-to-day HR support for people managers within the Flowserve operations in Sweden. Working closely with Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and Regional Service Delivery, Professional Services contributes to resolution of issues beyond Tier I and Tier II support, which require professional-level consulting and decision making skills. They also collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure workforce planning and human capital management initiatives specific to a platform or business unit are deployed locally.

This is an opportunity to lead the Swedish HR operation, and is key to our success in the region. As a US led business, this role is signficant in ensuring that global policies and practices are adopted locally, but in a suitable manner.

This varies from the management of our Talent Acquisition agreements, through talent development into coaching and support of the management community.
This is a diverse role, which combines professional, and blue collar level members of staff and their managers.
It has several key accountabilities:
1. Attract/Acquire
• Facilitate recruitment at all levels to meet future talent demands of the business. Support COEs in broader Company branding and diversity recruiting initiatives.
• Manage requisition workflow including accuracy/quality of position descriptions, appropriate titling/leveling assignment, and overall data accuracy.
• Partner with talent acquisition resources to fill open positions with high-quality candidates; support the hiring process via interviews, offer generation/approval, and escalation of hard-to-fill requisitions.
• Develop hiring manager capabilities in selection tools/processes to enable the best hiring decisions possible. Contribute to selection process for managerial/other key hiring decisions.
• Support integration of new associates related to mergers/acquisitions in area of responsibility (if required).
2. Engage/Direct
• Manage day to day Works Council/Union relationships.
• Coach employees and managers on performance/personnel issues and dispute resolution
• Approve written employee actions including performance improvement plans and progressive disciplines; seek additional review from Center of Expertise and Legal as needed
• Investigate grievances/complaints related to disciplinary actions, discrimination, harassment and workplace violence; protect confidentiality and sensitivity of investigation details. Engage in other investigations as directed by Ethics function.
• Support site-level employee engagement initiatives including survey participation; drive employee and manager accountability for plans to monitor and improve engagement
• Provide initial counsel to managers regarding compensation (e.g., pay adjustment, promotion, etc.) and benefits requests (e.g., expatriate relocation/perquisites); escalate to the appropriate HR and business leaders for final approval
3. Advance/Develop
• Counsel Managers on deployment of the performance management process, and influence improved compliance and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Performance Culture objectives, actively encouraging robust performance differentiation with supported managers.
• Deliver COE-supplied training content specified by the Corporation, or other programs as directed in support of approved location/platform initiatives.
4. Separate/Plan
• Propose/Review termination requests for compliance with Flowserve process, and to ensure effective management of Flowserves risks.
• Plan/Execute approved change programs in area of responsibility
• Maintain local exit interview process to collect feedback from departing associates to identify potential improvement


Din profil
Proven HR generalist experience, preferably within a multi national and manufacturing organisation.

You will need:
• A formal HR qualification
• In depth understanding of Swedish employment and Labour Laws - You'll need a
solid understanding of HR practices and policies, and that of nuances and/or legal restrictions within Sweden
• Experience of working with Works Councils, and Unionised environments
• Ideally, exposure to a diverse group of stakeholders in a manufacturing environment. .
• Ability to understand the need for change and adapt to change.
• Experience of utilising Microsoft office suite of tools to extract and analyse data, and make/present data-based recommendations to stakeholders.
