Role Purpose:
Within the BST, this role is accountable for the Finance matters belonging to the cluster
This role is accounts for the financial controlling activities, working closely with the Manager Business Services to provide him/her all relevant insights and documents the Manager needs to partner with the Director Operations Cluster and Director Commercial Cluster in driving the cluster performance
Besides Finance, this role is also accountable for the HR function within the cluster, including assisting the management team of the cluster in recruitment and onboarding of new talent
As Finance expert within the BST, he/she is involved into the different cluster performance topics such as building the cluster budget, product costing, defining CAPEX envelop and monitoring & reporting on investments
In addition, this role also assists with the business in the transactional procurement
As an HR expert, this role is also accountable for managing Industrial & Employee relations across the country

Responsibilities:
Perform and deliver product cost planning, evaluation and reporting
Guides cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures, explaining processes and techniques
Perform and deliver inventory accounting
Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast. Drive and deliver period end-closing assessment and reporting
Assist Operations and Supply Chain in improving inventory management, including period stock takes and surveys, reconciliations, periodic reviews of obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommendation for write-offs
Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment reviews
Assist line management in the Cluster Workforce planning by helping identify recruitment needs and appropriate recruitment strategies
Organize and execute onboarding for all new employees and contingent workers (all levels) starting within the Cluster
At the employment, organize exit interview and proper offboarding in all systems
Manage the relationships with the employment agencies providing temporary resources within the cluster
Time & Attendance/Leave & Absence Management
Organize exit interview with the appropriate person as per Sibelco termination process
Act as primary contact for the people managers in the cluster on HR related matters, provide guidance to the appropriate policies, procedures or HR colleagues
Manage Union labour relations including: negotiation of collective agreements, manage collective consultation processes for the country
Accountable for maintaining country policies and procedures on HR self-service portal up to date; including country employee handbook.

About you:
Bachelor degree in Finance or HR management, master degree preferred for larger and complex cluster or in a related field, or equivalent by experience
Prior experience as a financial analyst or controller OR HR manager/generalist role, or in a business services role in another international organisation
English- proficient verbal & writing
Local language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal & writing
Other languages are an asset
